Nana Gecaga is a renowned woman who comes from a highly influential political family of Kenya’s first and fourth heads of state. Being the CEO of the Kenyatta international convention center (KICC), she attracts a lot of attention from many Kenyans than one can imagine. Nana’s ethics towards work has catapulted her to the level of success that she enjoys today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her work ethic is an inspiration and a motivation to thousands of women out there. During her current interview at one of Kenya’s TV stations, Nana Gecaga vividly talked about how she has been able to strike a balance between her career and motherhood roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 42-year-old KICC chief is a single parent of three lovely boys who many do admit as borne of ‘good genes.’ She recently shared her struggles working as a single mother, which proves that she is indeed a powerhouse of a woman. Nana is always up by 5:30 AM and based on her office work schedule, she reiterates that her departure time from work is not clearly defined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She leaves the office as late as 8 pm. This leaves her nannies with a great responsibility to help maneuver between her motherhood and work efficiently. Nana admits that at some point, she missed the very early stages of her children’s growth due to her nature of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the office work embroiled by meetings and appointments, she is still able to set time to be with her three boys and share pleasantries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nana Gecaga Family and fame<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nana is the niece to the head of state and her affiliation can be dated to the president Moi\u2019s regime. She is borne of a blessed fortune ranging from an education foundation that is solid and a politically favored family. Her grandfather, Bethwel Gecaga, an Alliance and Makerere alumni was a highly established lawyer who became a Barrister-at-law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bethwel was the director of the East African Company among other lucrative appointments. He was married Jemimah Gecaga from whom he bore Udi and Marry Gecaga. Udi Gecaga got married to Jeni and Wambui Gecaga, Jommo Kenyatta’s daughter from whom Nana and the other two siblings; Soiya and Jomo were born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This clearly outlines how privileged and connected the family is- a contributing factor to the great story of mentorship in success Nana Gecaga has acquired towards the development of her career as a professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
