In the past and present, Kenya has yielded some of the celebrated women who are world-renowned personalities. They have dominated in their respective areas, but rarely do we tell the stories behind their achieved glamour. This article explores the lives of the five most celebrated Kenyan women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Facts That Probably Nobody Told About The Following Women Celebrities In Kenya.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kenya is known to many as an East African country that is rich in tourism, culture, and natural resources. However, this is not all that the country has to offer. It has produced women that really are trendsetters and who make headlines now and then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"i\"><li><strong>Lupita Nyong\u2019o<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The award-winning actress was born 1<sup>st<\/sup> March 1983, in Mexico City, Mexico. At the time of when she was born, her parents had exiled Kenya due to political heat. They were then able to return to Kenya during her childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She later attended Hampshire College in the United States to pursue a bachelor\u2019s degree in film and theatre. She began in the filmmaking industry as a director, editor, and a producer in the 2009 documentary that addressed albinism: <em>In My Genes. <\/em>She also starred in <em>Shuga, <\/em>which wasa series that aimed to achieve safe sex and HIV awareness amongst the youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lupita further pursued her interest in acting and later earned a master\u2019s degree in 2012 from Yale School of Drama. Lupita acquired a role in the drama: <em>12 Years a Slave, <\/em>which was produced by Brad Pitt. She played the role of an enslaved woman \u2013 who was being abused by the plantation master. The role earned her several awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has appeared on several other big projects such as <em>Black Panther<\/em>, <em>Queen of Katwe<\/em>, and <em>Us. <\/em>She is a fighter against women\u2019s and animals\u2019 rights. Her children\u2019s book titled <em>Sulwe <\/em>was named New York Times Best-Seller. She pursued Actuarial Science at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. The starlet chose acting and has never worked a single day in the area of Actuarial Science. She graduated from New York Film School in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her official acting career started in the popular <em>Tahidi High <\/em>television series in which she remained for four years. She also has made an appearance on several projects such as <em>Demigods<\/em>, <em>Saints<\/em>, and <em>Changes<\/em>. She has also hosted several TV shows such as <em>Wedding Show<\/em> and <em>Mashariki Mix<\/em>. Investment in the travel industry has given her much wealth. She is not only among the wealthiest women in Kenya but also she is one of the richest in general. She was born in Kisumu and first got married at the age of 14 and eventually dropping out of school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esther returned to school ten years later and sat for her KCSE in 2004. The mother of five has been in several multiple marriages. The <em>No filter<\/em> hit maker\u2019s turning point was when she met the then French ambassador to Djibouti. The queen of media started her media career at Homeboyz Radio. It was soon after the media station had opened a radio school, and the elite student was to get a job. The then top student happened to be Amina. She then transferred to Capital FM and later to K24 TV station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She currently hosts <em>The Trend <\/em>on Nation Television. She has one son by the name Tumi together with her husband, John Rabar. John Rabar is the chief executive officer at the Homeboyz Radio station. She was born on 10<sup>th<\/sup> October 1991 in Eastleigh Nairobi. Her father was Somali, while her mother was Kikuyu. Huddah\u2019s father passed away when she was only a child, after which her mother considered remarrying. The new family treated her as a reproach. Huddah had to escape the foster home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The celebrated beauty later connected with Calif Records as a video vixen. She also managed to participate in several video adverts.
