Who is Dr. Mercy Mwangangi?
Before the Covid-19 pandemic struck in Kenya, not much was in the public about her. She is the current Health Chief Administrative Secretary, (CAS). She was appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Before the appointment, she was the head of Health Financing and Health Economics at the Ministry of Health in Kenya.
She also works as a Joint Secretary in the task-force on; Universal Health Coverage; one of the pillars of the Big Four Agenda by the Jubilee Party.

From the time the Coronavirus came to Kenya, she has been spending most of her time working on how to help the ministry ‘flatten the curve’ which includes her time.
