A journey to Victoria Rubadiri’s family name, history, and background

Women play important roles in the current society, compared to the past, where they were known for family responsibilities and certain chores. The power and strong will of every woman are highly appreciated. This article will focus on the life history and hard work of the famous journalist, Victoria Rubadiri.

Victoria Rubadiri’s Family

Victoria Rubadiri was born on January 28, 1987, in Kenya.

Growing out of a family with mixed tribes and races, Victoria is a special and unique character. Beginning with her grandfather, David Rubadiri who was half Kalenjin and half Scottish while her grandmother Kikuyu, Maasai, and Seychellois, why not say she’s rare?

Moving to her biological parents, her mother is Maasai and Kalenjin, while her father is Malawian. Her family is a good example of how some people are there to love till infinity, without judging their partner’s origin, tribe, or race.

Rubadiri inspires women all over the country with her parenting responsibilities to her daughter Neema.  She gave birth to the beautiful angel in 2005 when she was only 18 years. This, however, did not stop her from reaching her goals so as to provide for her child.

 She motivates every youth who desires to have a greater future, even if it means starting from scratch. This is why she floods the media industries with her kind heart as well.

Victoria got married to the famous BBC Business editor, Larry Madowo and had a private memorable wedding ceremony in Karen, Nairobi. The lovebirds have great zeal to succeed in life and encourage upcoming broadcast journalists.

Victoria Rubadiri’s Education

After Rubadiri’s stay in Kenya when she was born, her family migrated to the United States of America. This is where she studied her 9th to 12th grade at Atlantic City High School, in Atlantic Country. She further continued her studies abroad and joined Temple University Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 2003-2006.

She pursued her dream course which was Broadcast Journalism and later on graduated from the university with a Bachelor Of Arts Degree.

David Rubadiri, a celebrated Malawian diplomat, poet, novelist, and playwright was born on 19 July 1930 and succumbed to death on 15th September 2018. He was Victoria’s beloved grandfather who was also a Malawian Vice-Chancellor at the University of Malawi.

After his death, Victoria said that he was always a motivation to her and his inspiration made her follow his legacy. She also added that her grandfather’s words would always guide her ways and keep her on track, with the name given to her after him, was to be remembered for generations.
