Basal cell carcinoma’s symptoms are; waxy bump, a recurring bleeding sore, a flat brown lesion. Squamous cell carcinoma’s symptoms include; a firm red nodule, a scaly lesion. Melanoma occurs as; large brownish spots with dark speckles, a mole that changes color and size, a painful lesion that burns, dark lesions on your palms, fingertips, or mucous membranes in your mouth, vagina, or anus.

Prevention and treatment for skin cancer.

To prevent skin cancer, avoid a lot of sun during the day. Wear sunscreen all through. Wear protective clothing such as wide-brimmed hats and sunglasses that bar UV lights. Be cautious of tanning beds.

Treatment may vary from skin creams to surgery to chemotherapy and radiation all these depend on the type of skin cancer you have and the extent to which your skin is affected or rather the stage of the cancer.
